Question 1 of 5
Is there a grid connection at the site?
Side by side
Three systems, one table.
| On-grid | Hybrid | Off-grid | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Works in an outage | No | Yes, from the battery | Yes, it is always on battery |
| Battery | None | Sized to the loads you name | Sized to the whole site |
| Net metering | Yes | Yes | No grid, so none |
| PM Surya Ghar subsidy, homes | Yes | Solar side only | No |
| Cost per kW | Lowest | Higher; the battery adds | Highest |
| Best for | Most homes and businesses on a working grid | Outage-prone areas, work from home, medical and cold loads | No grid, weak-grid villages, farms, remote and backup-critical sites |
Prices are quoted on WhatsApp from the current card, sized to your bills.
The three pages
On-grid solar
The default. Lowest cost per kW, subsidy-eligible, net metering to your sanctioned load.
How on-grid worksHybrid solar
Grid savings and backup in one system. The growth story for outage-prone homes and shops.
When hybrid winsOff-grid solar
Where the grid cannot do the job. Battery sized properly, watched by RMS, no subsidy and we say so.
Who needs off-grid
Why our answer is worth having
We have built all three, at scale.
370+
plants built and maintained across Rajasthan
Hundreds
battery-backed off-grid plants in the fleet
RMS
in-house monitoring on panels and batteries alike
Choosing a system
Questions before you pick.
Can I change my mind later?
Mostly, yes. An on-grid plant can be given a battery later with a hybrid inverter or an add-on unit. An off-grid plant can be tied to the grid when the line arrives. We design with that in mind.
Does this check replace a survey?
No. It tells you which page to read and which form to fill. The survey measures your roof, load and grid and sizes the plant; that stays free.
Why do you steer most people to on-grid?
Because a working grid is the cheapest battery there is, and the battery is the most expensive part of any system. If you do not need one, we would rather not sell you one.
What about a generator?
Hybrid and off-grid designs can take a diesel generator as the last resort, started only when the battery runs low. It then runs a fraction of the hours it used to.
Do shops and factories get the subsidy?
No. PM Surya Ghar is for homes. Businesses claim GST input credit and depreciation instead, and skip the subsidy paperwork entirely.
